Why should you order this update?

CCD-Guide 2025 comes up with a huge extension of the image database with 509 new images. Since our CCD-Guide astrophotographers capture often rarely photographed objects, the CCD-Guide database now contains high-quality reference images of more than 1,400 objects, such as the following image of Arp 295 by Wolfgang Promper:

CCD-Guide 2025 has a number of new functions and many improvements to the existing functionality. Particularly noteworthy is the new “Search Small-Bodies” function in the CatEdit utility: From any section of the sky, all comets and asteroids can be retrieved from JPL at a specified time and saved in a catalog. This catalog can then be used in ObjectMarker to label these objects in your own image.
