Why should you order this update?

CCD-Guide 2026 comes up with a huge extension of the image database with 468 new images. Since our CCD-Guide astrophotographers capture often rarely photographed objects, the CCD-Guide database now contains high-quality reference images of more than 1,500 objects, such as the following image of Barnard 7 by Tommy Nawratil:

The CCD-Guide software has not been changed except for bug fixes compared to the proven release CCD-Guide 2025. In addition to the bug fixes in the software, errors in the object database have also been corrected and enhancements for exotic objects have been implemented, as shown in the following image of the object SNR G179.0+02.6 by our new image author Andreas Bringmann:
